Football glory

Another week, another glamorous James Chapman & Co photo opportunity, but partner Mike Blood (back left) has much to thank Obiter for.

We have, in the past, chided Chapman's senior partner and Manchester United director Maurice Watkins (back right) for taking all the glory in the firm's work for the club; 'the promptings of the Gazette have borne fruit and Mike Blood has been included in the line-up', Mr Watkins writes.

Sadly for fellow partner Jason Smith, who also worked on part of David Beckham's contract, he wasn't quite so lucky and has to make do with the satisfaction of a job well done.
