Mayfair firm Forsters saw profit per equity partner rise by 29% to £487,000 for the 2005-2006 financial year. Turnover increased by 25% to £19.9 million, up from just under £16 million. Senior partner Sophie Hamilton said it had been Forsters' most successful year since its foundation in 1998. London and south-east firm Penningtons meanwhile reported a 10% increase in fee income to £28.5 million. Profitability also grew by 7%. Penningtons' chief executive Lesley Lintott described the firm's performance as 'encouraging'.
