The Gazette is looking for legal professionals who are ‘influential, inspirational and in the public eye’ for its inaugural Gazette Legal Personality of the Year award, with just over a week to go until the deadline for nominations.

The award aims to recognise those who have made an ‘outstanding public contribution’ to the profession. Nominations for the Gazette’s award, which is a new addition to the Law Society’s Excellence Awards, must be received by 27 August. It is open to everyone in the legal sector, and is not restricted to lawyers.

The Gazette’s editorial team will draw up a shortlist of potential winners which will be informed by readers’ nominations. The winner will be selected by a panel chaired by editor-in-chief Paul Rogerson.

Readers can make their nomination online via the Gazette website.
