Group targets access to legal services
A group promoting legal reform through lobbying of the government and the Law Society was launched this week.
The Legal Services Reform Group (LSRG) was formed by 11 legal consultants, in-house and employed solicitors - including the chairwoman of the Law Society's commerce and industry group and head of legal at the Co-operative bank Ann Page - in response to the debate over the regulation and development of the legal profession.
Its aims are to improve access to legal services through the development of new distribution channels.
