Higher rights of audience test in evidence and procedure

The next sitting of the higher rights of audience test in evidence and procedure will be held on Thursday, 14 September 2000 at venues in London & Manchester.Owing to the proposed implementation of the Higher Courts Qualification Regulations 2000, which are awaiting approval by the Law Society's Council and under schedule 4 of the Courts & Legal Services Act 1990 (as amended), it is planned that this test will be the last one.

Only those individuals who currently hold a certificate of eligibility are able to sit the test in evidence and procedure and it is expected that the September test will be the last time it takes place in its current format.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 18 August 2000.
