Image Problem
I have read with interest your article concerning the use of a photograph displaying a Tuckers Solicitors-logoed police station file on the cover of the Legal Services Commission consultation paper (see [2007] Gazette, 8 March, 8).
I was one of many solicitors who noticed the same use of a Tuckers-logoed police station file on the Legal Services Commission's June 2005 Criminal Defence Services at the Police Station and in Court leaflet, using the very same two people. Could the commission offer justification for the relevance of the use of this image in these circumstances, where, as far as I understand, this public information leaflet was distributed to legal aid firms, courts and other public buildings up and down the country?
