Your feature 'Flushing out bullies' (see [2005] Gazette, 24 November, 18) stated that the quoted comments were taken from a verbatim transcript of a telephone call made to the Trainee Solicitors Group (TSG) helpline.
The helpline does not record transcripts of calls. Generic information is recorded. This information is for volunteer training purposes and to enable the TSG to identify areas in which its members require support.
The helpline regards and treats all calls from its members as highly confidential. It has worked hard to build up trust among its members, which enables it to be the effective source of help that it is today.
