In the money

Regional firm Bevan Ashford has recorded an 11.8 million profit on a 2001 turnover of 37.8 million, which was almost 20% up on the year before.

The 83-partner firm, which originally hails from the west country, received two-thirds of its income from its London and Birmingham offices, although the west country practice was more profitable, managing a 33.7% profit on turnover as against 30% for the other offices.
