l EVERSHEDS TAPS INTO TOLLEY Eversheds has signed an on-line content deal with legal publishing company Butterworths Tolley, which will see tailored legal information being sent directly to clients' desktops.

This is in addition to the on-line news service Butterworths Tolley arranged earlier in the year with the Financial Times.

Butterworths also signed a content deal with Clifford Chance last month for e-business law.

l HENMANS SNAPS UP SOLCASE Oxford firm Henmans has implemented SolCase, Solicitec's case management software system, in its personal injury and conveyancing departments after Solicitec integrated its system with Henmans existing accounts package Arista, which is supplied by Axxia Systems.

l SPEEDING UP NET ACCESS Law firms are now able to access the Internet through high-speed broadband technology introduced by ntl:, meaning that access to the Internet can be up to 20 times faster and more powerful.

The package is aimed at small businesses, comprising unlimited Internet access for a set monthly fee.

l BELL RINGS IT changes Westminster law firm Bircham Dyson Bell has created a post of IT director and head of the IT department.

The first occupant of the new post is Angela Conner, who was previously senior IT manager at Deloitte & Touche and a former IT manager at City law firm Simmons & Simmons.
