l tracking debt on-lineBraby & Waller, the debt recovery arm of Irwin Mitchell, has launched an interactive on-line debt service - BWonline - which enables clients to track the progress of specific jobs and to give instructions directly to the people who are handling their cases.

Hugh Robertson, joint head of debt recovery at the practice, said the firm is also able to access clients' own ledger systems directly via the Internet, which will save further time and expense.

The system has been trialled successfully with several clients which include Lex Vehicle Leasing and Hepworth Building Products.

Aurra's past projects include implementing the Elite and CMS Open practice management systems.

Aurra's managing director, Mike Bailey, said that the acquisition will be of help to both companies in making the most of a growing area of legal IT provision.
