Child’s play: national firm Hammonds advised PricewaterhouseCoopers on selling childrenswear retailer Adams Childrenswear, in administration, to its former owner John Shannon for an undisclosed sum. Adams Childrenswear, which had an annual turnover of £150m and more than 270 stores, was placed into administration in December 2008. Shannon was advised by City firm LG.
Leeds leads: City firm Lovells advised Equitix Healthcare and City firm CMS Cameron McKenna advised National Australia Bank on the acquisition, restructuring and refinancing of the Leeds Mental Health Services PFI project to run seven mental health units in Leeds. National firm Addleshaw Goddard advised the Leeds Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust.
