Leading lawyer to feature in Channel 4 divorce show

Leading divorce lawyer Vanessa Lloyd Platt will next month become the latest reality TV pundit.

Ms Lloyd Platt, partner at two-partner north London firm Lloyd Platt & Co, will be advising unhappy couples on Channel 4's 'Made for each other', starting on 5 February.

Evidence from closed-circuit cameras set up in six couples' homes for six weeks will be picked over by Ms Lloyd Platt and a clinical psychologist, who meet the couple to give opinions on where their relationship is failing.

Ms Lloyd Platt said: 'Divorce lawyers only ever see one side of the story, but I wish video footage such as this was accepted in court, as it is clear, irrefutable evidence about couples' behaviour.' She added that studying the couples' behaviour and body language had helped her understand her own clients.
