Legal practice course board: vacancy

The legal practice course (LPC) board has a vacancy.

The board deals with the approval and monitoring of institutions providing the legal practice course and exercises the powers of the Law Society under the Monitoring of Courses Regulations 1991.

Meetings are held in London about eight times a year.

In addition to attending meetings of the board, it would be desirable that the member should participate in some assessment visits to LPC teaching institutions.

Applications are invited from experienced, senior LPC teaching staff from small to medium-sized LPC institutions (that is, those with up to 250 full-time equivalent places) who are interested in legal education.

Send a CV and covering letter to Jo Green, clerk of the LPC Board, The Law Society, Ipsley Court, Redditch, Worcs, B98 0TD.

The deadline for applications is Friday, 28 February 2003.
