Looking good

I read with wry amusement the article in Obiter (see [2000] Gazette, 31 May, 13) the comment regarding Rob Good and his earring.

I have sported a discreet earring since 1987, and have been a partner in my rm since 1972.

I wear the ring permanently, including in court when I still did court appearances.

If Obiter has never come across this before, can this be conrming what some of us in the provinces think, namely that London and Chancery Lane can be rather behind the times?
