A man has appeared at the Old Bailey in relation to an alleged attack at a London law firm last month.

The Metropolitan Police said Cavan Medlock, 28, of Harrow, north west London, was charged with five offences following an alleged incident at Duncan Lewis, one of the biggest legal aid immigration firms in the country.

The Metropolitan Police said Medlock was arrested after officers attended an address in Harrow at approximately 5.20pm on 7 September. There were no reports of serious injuries.

The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed the charges include racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress, threatening to kill a director at the firm, threatening a solicitor with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place, possessing a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place, and assault by beating.

Medlock appeared by video link from Wormwood Scrubs prison and has yet to enter pleas.
