The London corporate group of US firm Mayer Brown has outsourced its entire secretarial practice, the firm announced today.

Corporate administrative outsourcer TMF Group, which runs 87 corporate administration companies in 67 countries, has acquired the practice.

Peter Dickinson, head of the corporate group at Mayer Brown in London, said that the transaction ‘will benefit our clients, as they will continue to work with the same team that has previously supported their needs in the UK and enable them to access the international capabilities of TMF through that team'.

Last year, TMF acquired magic circle firm Clifford Chance’s corporate secretarial services company, and offshore firm Walkers’ company secretarial practice in Jersey.

Jarrod Simpson, global head of TMF legal and administrative services, said that TMF’s latest acquisition will allow the company to grow its UK and global practices.

TMF said that it serves more than 21,000 entities.
