City firm Lovells has launched a business programme for its lawyers in conjunction with London-based Cass Business School. The programme consists of three tiers of progressive training: an intensive introductory programme; three electives of an MBA selected for their relevance to lawyers; and a full MBA. The firm's lawyers will also receive industry briefings, which will cover the key issues for clients in a particular sector. The programme will be rolled out in London from this month, and is expected to run across the firm's global network in 2007. Scott Moeller, director of executive education at Cass, said: 'Cass will provide candidates with an exclusive exposure to both academic experts and industry practitioners who will share, first hand, their knowledge of business, finance and commerce.'
