The firm has also made up property specialist Gareth Edwards.The rapid expansion of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's Amsterdam office continues with the recruitment of finance lawyer Jeroen Thijssen from Dutch firm Nauta Dutilh.It's been all change in Clifford Chance's Asian capital markets practice.

Practice head Stephen Roith has relocated from Tokyo to Hong Kong.

He is replaced in Japan by senior securitisation partner Paul Severs.

IN-HOUSEMonazza Khan has been promoted to director, legal affairs at Ford Britain, becoming one of the company's youngest directors.

She replaces Natalie Jobling, who has moved to the position of director, legal affairs at Ford Credit Bank.Robert Gibber, Tate & Lyle's general counsel, has had the role of company secretary added to his responsibilities.Corin Maberly has been promoted to head of legal at business-to-business e-commerce software publisher Infobank International Holdings.

He succeeds Robin Hothersall, who has joined Internet infrastructure provider CityReach International as vice-president, legal and commercial to establish a legal department.
