Ipswich is the recruitment hotspot this week.
Employment assistant Frances Barker has been recruited by Blocks from Gotelee & Goldsmith.
Barker Gotelee has recruited Tim Ridyard as an associate in its transport and advocacy team.
Mr Ridyard joins from the Ipswich office of Ashton Graham, where he was a partner and head of advocacy.
Prettys has three new corporate services assistants: Keith Vincent from Manchester firm Lockett Loveday McMahon, and newly qualifieds Andrew Tubb and Kelly Landles from Hewitson Becke & Shaw in Northampton and the Ipswich office of Bates Wells & Braithwaite respectively.
Also leaving Northampton is Roger James, who was head of employment at Poole & Co, who joins Cambridge-based Taylor Vinters as an assistant.
Clyde & Co's Guildford office has recruited three assistants: property lawyers Alexis Jones from Burges Salmon in Bristol, and Sally Jackson from City firm Allen & Overy, and employment specialist Hilary Griffin, who recently qualified at City firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain.
