Eversheds in Nottingham has suffered a double loss: David Kaplan has joined Derby firm Flint Bishop & Barnett as head of company/commercial, while Clare Vickers has moved to Nelsons in Nottingham as a corporate services partner.
Chester firm Aaron & Partners has brought in Peter Byrne as an employment partner.
He was an associate at Mace & Jones in Manchester.
In London, Davenport Lyons has hired corporate partner Jeanette Gregson from Berwin Leighton Paisner.
Employment partner Pattie Walsh has swapped Osborne Clarke for Richards Butler.
Allen & Overy banking partner Riccardo Sallustio has left to join the London office of Italian firm Bonelli Erede Pappalardo, which works closely with Slaughter and May.
Back in Italy, Bird & Bird has added a team of seven corporate lawyers from Deloitte Legal to its new Milan office, headed by partner Alberto Salvad.
Banking lawyer Neale Downes has joined Trowers & Hamlins' Bahrain office from Barlow Lyde & Gilbert.

DLA has made up 14 partners, taking its total to 338: in banking, David Miles (London); in corporate, Matthew Doughty (Birmingham), Stephen Atkinson (Leeds) and Polly Owen (Manchester); in real estate, Matthew Lonergan (Leeds) and Kevin Lee (Liverpool); in human resources, Nick Jew (Birmingham), Ben Miller (Liverpool) and Pauline Matthews (Manchester); insurance lawyer Radd Seiger (Birmingham); litigators James Haddleton (Leeds) and Segun Osuntokun (London); technology, media and communications lawyer Craig Rattray (London) and Philippa Bennett (London), who is in both the litigation and technology fields.
South-east firm Thomas Eggar has promoted company/commercial associates Daniel Bastide and Miranda Chapple to partner in its Horsham and Chichester offices respectively.
It now has 55 partners.
Cardiff firm Leo Abse & Cohen has named its first new equity partners in more than ten years after Mike Jenkins (personal injury), Peter Maynard (head of fast-track personal injury) and Richard Norman (trade union services/head of the Swansea office) were moved up from salaried partners.
Hill Dickinson has hit 87 partners with the appointment of: in Liverpool, Graham Archibald (commercial property), Matthew Davies (travel and leisure) and Ian Gardiner (health); in Chester, Brent Willians (commercial property); and in London, Melissa Jones (insurance litigation) and Ira Harris (yachting).
In addition, Elizabeth Hassall, head of family in the Chester office, has joined the equity.

In the City, Linklaters has reappointed Tony Angel as its firm-wide managing partner until June 2007.
Paul Giles has taken over from the retiring David Lewis as chairman of Norton Rose.
Mr Giles was the firm's Asian managing partner.
Paul Maher has succeeded Stuart James as UK senior partner of Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw.
Mr James is becoming a consultant to the firm.
Corporate lawyer Russell Bell has been named senior partner of south-east firm ASB Law after Ray Harris's term expired.
Mr Harris will continue as head of the wills, trust and probate department.
Newport-based Harding Evans has a new senior partner after one-time Welsh rugby international Bill Morris took over from Roly Arthur, who is staying on with the firm as a consultant.
Surrey firm Mundays has appointed chartered accountant Bob Bruce as chief executive; he moves from vehicle exporter Automotive Export Supplies, and replaces the retiring Roger Formby.
