Muscle-man's extra strength

When Marcel Apfel, an in-house solicitor at the Pentland Group, asks if we fancy writing another article on him, we don't argue.

Mr Apfel (we just call him sir) recently added to his collection of bodybuilding titles by first taking the British Natural Bodybuilding Federation's central Britain under-80 kg class, and then triumphed against all the other class winners to take the overall title.

Mr Apfel, sponsored by Maximuscle, plans an assault on the Mr UK championships later in the year.

He fits in two training sessions a day, and says his mum and future in-laws have freed up time by organising his forthcoming wedding to Charlotte, whom, despite his physique, he calls 'my rock'.
