Kroll Ontrack, the provider of electronic and paper disclosure solutions for law firms, has launched ElectronicDataViewer in the UK. The product integrates paper and electronic documents into a single on-line repository and review tool, giving litigation teams more control over their disclosure costs. Features of ElectronicDataViewer - which was first released in the US in 2001 - include secure and fast access, automated real-time reporting, keyword and concept searching, and advanced redaction capabilities.
AIM has launched Evolution DocuMail, which provides advanced functionality for storage of documents against the names of clients, non-clients and matters (Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail formats), version control and document redlining. Both outgoing and incoming e-mail storage, and classification of any attachments, is provided.
Videss has unveiled its new Legal Process Management (LPM) software release, v10. The product is a true thin client application, based on the Microsoft.NET and Progress OpenEdge10 technologies. As well as accounts and software management software, it provides on-line handling of all incoming and outgoing communications, all internal forms and procedures, and all appointments and reminders.
Vogon International has developed tools to recover and rebuild e-mail data from popular programmes including MS Exchange, Outlook and Lotus Notes as part of its data recovery services. The tools will help protect valuable corporate data from organisations where e-mail has become the main form of communication, both internally and externally. They also enable deleted e-mails and attachments to be recovered by forensic investigators.
LexisNexis Interface Software has rolled out a redeveloped integration between its InterAction customer relationship management solution and Novell GroupWise, the personal information manager. As a result InterAction now offers full, server-based, bi-directional integration with the leading personal information managers such as Microsoft Outlook, IBM Lotus Notes, and now Novell GroupWise.
