Open to interpretation
'Just how many under-performing partners could I skewer on this?' Michael Taylor, managing partner of Leeds firm Walker Morris, is not thinking as he gazes up at this exhibit from one of the Royal Academy Schools' annual exhibitions.
The firm is the new sponsor of the exhibitions, which separately showcase the work of second-year students and those who have completed the three-year postgraduate course.
Mr Taylor looks bemused by this work, it has to be said, despite the explanation from Professor Brendan Neiland, keeper of the Royal Academy, but Mr Taylor is used to unworldly artistic expression having most recently put the firm's name to 'The Art of Star Wars' at the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television.
Walker Morris's taste in art is, we suspect, what the word 'eclectic' was invented to describe.
