Painting the town red

Congratulations to Southampton-based Paris Smith & Randall for being the first law firm - and, we wager, most certainly not the last - to arrange client hospitality for the England v Argentina World Cup match on 7 June.

The event will be staged in the Matthew Le Tissier suite at Southampton's St Mary's stadium, and guests will be lunched and given the opportunity to have their faces painted.

Rumours that the chap who was forced to splash Argentina's colours over his face for this picture, was then beaten up by the rest of them in belated revenge for the Hand of God in 1986 and the penalty shoot-out in 1998 have been dismissed.
