Out-Law, the information Web site run by national firm Pinsent Masons, was named an 'eSuperbrand' last week by a panel of branding experts.
The site can now claim a place alongside such members of the Internet's great and good as The Times' on-line news site, BBC.co.uk and auction site eBay.
Superbrands calls itself the UK's arbiter on branding, and this is only the second time it has given out its new media eSuperbrands gongs.
Donna Price, chairwoman of the voting council and director at Superbrands UK, said: 'Pinsent Masons has succeeded in creating a Web site which really pushes the boundaries of the law industry. Out-law.com is user-friendly and provides legal information in a refreshing and dynamic way.'
Pinsent Masons claims that Out-Law has 28,000 registered users and gets 100,000 'unique visitors' (jargon for individuals) every month.
