I read the recent guidance article with interest and some disappointment (see [2003] Gazette, 16 October, 43).

I am one of the solicitors who has become increasingly irritated by buyers' solicitors not completing part 11 of the sellers' property information form.

I wish that the Law Society's conveyancing and landlord committee had taken a stronger line and held it; if a buyer's solicitor does not complete part II, then he cannot claim to use the protocol.
