The London office consisted of 23 partners and 72 associates as of 31 December 2020, up from 19 partners and 69 associates at the start of the year.

London senior partner Richard East said: ‘Given the worldwide pandemic, the resultant economic dislocation and the entire office transitioning to working from home in March, these results are truly astounding. They derive from the total commitment to the service of our clients that has been shown by our London workforce.’

Elsewhere in the City, partner promotions have got off to a strong start this year, with a number of London lawyers receiving the nod at Hogan Lovells, Norton Rose Fulbright and Reed Smith.
