The amazing abundance of the new Land Registry forms post-13 October - and their bizarre wording - is a clear attempt by the Land Registry to force us to do its own internal bureaucracy .
The Inland Revenue stamp duty land tax 1 forms, which carry enormous liabilities for solicitors, require us to obtain ludicrous amounts of useless information and have to be completed in an archaic and complicated format.
These two changes alone will be the final nail in the coffin of high street practitioners.
