Registering an enduring power of attorney

The Public Guardianship Office has produced a modified form of the EP2 application for registration of an enduring power of attorney.

This form is sent to the court after giving notice to the donor and certain relatives of the attorney's intention to apply for registration of the enduring power of attorney.

The new form is interim only and a final version will be issued later in the year.

The interim form must be used for all applications to register submitted after 1 March 2003.

The interim form can be obtained from all the usual forms suppliers or downloaded from www.guardianship.gov.uk.
