European governments must take action against renditions and illegal detentions, the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) - whose UK member is Justice - has said. The comments followed Swiss senator Dick Marty's finding of a CIA 'spider's web' of renditions and detentions. 'The gross violations of human rights documented in this report must not be allowed to happen again,' said ICJ secretary-general Nicholas Howen.
