Shoosmiths bags a double
It is Shoosmiths week for Obiter, it would appear, to judge by these two photographs received recently.
In the first, lawyers from its Basingstoke office seem to be doing their best to give the public a somewhat inaccurate display of legal dress as it kicks off a year of raising money for brain injury charity Headway.
Lawyers wandered around a local shopping centre, probably frightening people into giving them money, and this crew - for whom the word motley was very possibly invented - are (from left) Michelle Studd, Anjali Kanish, Ken Firby and Stephanie Goodall.
Shoosmiths was also able to steal some thunder from these athletic solicitors at Newbury firm Gardner Leader - (from left) Alastair Goggins, Tara Campbell and Greg Humphreys, who completed the Reading half marathon earlier this month.
Having done their 13.1 miles, the trio were handed the usual blankets, but sadly Ms Campbell did not apply hers quite carefully enough when the photographer hove into view, so you can just see the name of the sponsor on her runner's number: Shoosmiths.
