Sintons plugs into e-commerce group to back Web plans
Newcastle-based Sinton & Co has teamed up with a media company and an accountancy practice to form an integrated e-commerce implementation service for companies launching on-line business ventures.
The service, called Blue Chip Commerce, will be officially launched next week at a party jointly hosted by Sintons, Liveroom and accountants Stokoe Rodger.
Murray Magowan, Sintons' practice director, said: 'We know that a number of companies have jumped on the Web site bandwagon and are probably trading illegally.
They tend to spend money on design and then plough ahead without considering legal implications, such as intellectual property rights, domain names and trademarks.'
He continued: 'The kind of cohesive package of legal and financial advice we are offering to small and medium-sized companies who are about to go into e-business definitely has a market.
The interest we have received pre-launch has been encouraging and we already have a number of clients signed up.'
Bluechip Commerce is a stand-alone holding company.
The services provided by the three businesses are separate.
