Two solicitors and a commercial mediator are among the new cohort of appointed members of the Civil Justice Council (CJC).

The six new members will be part of the statutory advisory body, which advises the judiciary, government and rule makers on the development of the civil justice system including how it can be more accessible, fair and efficient, for three years.

The members include solicitor John Cuss, head of corporate services and strategic partnerships at Hudgell Solicitors who joins as solicitor member; Daniel Hoadley (pictured), called to the bar in 2009 and now head of data science and analytics at Mishcon de Reya as digital, technology and information member; and commercial mediator Amrik Kandola as ADR member.
