Solicitors rock all over Glastonbury
Their most frequent enquiry may have concerned the location of the toilets, but all power to solicitors from Somerset Law Society who brought law to the masses at the recent Glastonbury Festival.
Solicitors from Bridgwater firms Ash Clifford and Barrington Scholfield took to the canvas for almost a week (because the stands had to be set up in advance) all in the name of promoting the Citizenship Foundation and the Law Society's client charter.
The society's Kevin Shearn said it was a worthwhile event.
'It involves lawyers having contact with people they wouldn't normally be in touch with,' he explained.
'There were lots of people staggering by, asking about their human rights.' Pictured giving advice with a can of Carling in hand (surely not a sight your average professional indemnity insurer would be ecstatic about if he were to do the same in the office) is Ash Clifford's Nigel Yeo, with colleagues David Randle and Amie Pinnell on the far right, along with Mr Shearn's son and 'somebody's girlfriend'
