Steady Flow

What a wonderfully Panglossian and ill-informed person the press officer at the Legal Services Commission (LSC) is, and how typical of that organisation (see [2000] Gazette, 21 September, 18)

We were told to scrap the Guidance on the Exercise of Devolved Powers (GEDP) when the manual arrived.

However, I have since been referred by LSC staff back to GEDP on issues not covered in the manual.

It would be wonderful to have a 'coherent flow of information to the profession.' However, in my view anyone who seeks to rely on the LSC manual should also inform their indemnity insurers at the same time.
