Trustis gains accreditation
Trustis, the secure e-commerce service co-founded by City law firm Hobson Audley, has achieved industry accreditation for its digital certificate manufacturing system.
The Certificate Factory is a bespoke system that enables organisations to generate digital certificates - which ensure e-mails are opened only by the intended recipient - without the cost and risk of building an infrastructure in-house.
It has been granted accreditation by tScheme, an independent industry-led body created to approve and set a watermark for trust services.
Chris Swinbank, managing director of Trustis, said users of tScheme-approved products and services only have to gain approval for the processes they run, like registration.
'This means they gain tScheme approval as an organisation in their own right quickly and for a fraction of the normal cost,' he said.
Max Audley, a partner at Hobson Audley and a non-executive director of Trustis, said: 'We are a delighted customer of Trustis, as well as minority shareholders, and are happy to see the tScheme accreditation.'
