Unified Decision
The advice of the Law Society's solicitors - Bircham Dyson Bell - is that, on purely legal grounds, firms should not sign the new unified Legal Services Commission contract.
It is a matter of legitimate concern for practitioners to know how many others have decided to follow, or not to follow this advice. The Society should immediately make available a facility on its website allowing firms to indicate their intentions in this respect.
