We as a profession have never excelled at self-promotion, but I am sure that I am not alone in failing to be impressed by the format of our new practising certificates - in particular the absence of a coat of arms (notwithstanding that the Solicitors Regulation Authority is an independent regulatory body). We are, after all, officers of the court (sorry - regular businessmen/women).

I bet that a CORGI registration certificate is more impressive.
