Western justice
In a short article recently, there is mention of the judicial killing of Tracy Hounsel.
Sadly Mr Hounsel was executed on 13 March.
Those who read the facts of the case would readily have taken on board the serious concerns expressed about his conviction.
Sadly, Mr Hounsel, happened to find himself at the sharp end of a judicial system not dissimilar to our own, so there was scant attention from the press and media of Mr Hounsel's plight.
Had Mr Hounsel's situation arisen in some Arab, Asian or African country then no doubt the media would have buzzed with activity and politicos would have enlarged the public with sound-bites of a western civilised system of justice.
