What lawyers will do in the name of marketing, part 94

Whatever you think this photo from Oxford-based Marshall & Galpin is about, you are, without doubt, wrong.

No, they are not on a crusade to clean up, quite literally, the streets of Oxford.

Nor are they celebrating a new instruction to work for the local highway sanitation contractors (or whatever road sweepers are now called).

And no, there is no 'brush with the law' gag going on here either.

Rather, they have swept all before them (tee hee) and become the first law firm in the county to be awarded the Law Society's Lexcel practice management standard.

So why the brooms, you still wonder? It's because the firm already has ISO 9002 and Investors in People, meaning it is 'celebrating a clean sweep of awards'.

Partner Tracy Norris-Evans has taken the idea of celebration to heart, to judge by her party skirt and shoes, outshining fellow partners David Atkinson (left) and practice director Mike Gorick.
