City firm Herbert Smith advised Bridgestone on its successful tender to be the sole tyre supplier for the FIA Formula One world championship from 2008 to the end of the 2010 season. Bridgestone was also advised by former Herbert Smith partner Julian Lew QC of London-based chambers 20 Essex Street.
