Normally, if we are going to be honest, being descended on by a bunch of lawyers is not going to do much for the spirits of ill children over the Yuletide season.

But fortunately for those on the children's wards of Sandwell General Hospital, this visitor from West Midlands firm Challinors Lyon Clark was well disguised and bearing gifts.

Senior partner Trevor Lee (pictured right) delivered 60 presents donated by staff at the firm, which was topped off by a 300 donation by the partners to the hospital's paediatric trust fund.

Meanwhile, trainee solicitors in the Leeds office of Addleshaw Booth & Co deliver presents as part of a Secret Santa initiative run by the Leeds Cares scheme.
