Top 20 City firm CMS Cameron McKenna has rolled out Web-based expense management solution Concur Expense by Concur Technologies to its 1,200 UK staff.

Concur Expense automatically maps each expense line to the appropriate ledger code, speeding up the claim processing time.

It also has an administrative assistant feature which allows staff to nominate someone else to handle their expenses, while allowing the firm to track, capture and analyse expenditure information.

Home Counties practice Taylor Walton has introduced Telephonetics' ContactPortal, an automated telephone system using voice recognition technology.

As well as enabling connections out of hours where previously callers had to know the direct number of the person they wished to call or leave a message on a central answerphone, it deals with call overflow when the receptionists are busy.

ContactPortal also puts callers through to departments if they do not know individuals, and allows employees to choose where their calls are routed.

Northampton firm Franklins has begun deploying Microsoft Office System 2003 with FWBS's OMS Framework across its 130 users.

OMS Framework is a complete office management suite, using Office 2003, Exchange 2003, Smart Tags and the Research Pane.
