City firm Berwin Leighton Paisner has picked FloSuite's Business Process Management software as its foundation for business process modelling and process management. The solution integrates 'best of breed' third-party systems, including Elite Practice Management System, InterAction Customer Relationship Management and Interwoven Worksite document management.
US firm White & Case has selected the TimeKM system from PensEra Knowledge Technologies as its time and activity tracking system. It will also be running the Blackberry-compatible TimeKM Mobile system.
Lichfield-based commercial firm Keelys has implemented AIM Professional Systems' Evolution practice and case management software at a cost of around £90,000. The system, which uses a Windows-based IT platform, replaces the firm's paper-based time-recording and billing system. It provides greater visibility of chargeable time, helping to improve the billing and cash collection cycle.
East Anglian law firm Hewitsons has signed up to Crescendo Systems' DigiScribe-XL digital dictation and workflow management system. The system is being rolled out in its Cambridge, Northampton and Saffron Walden offices.
London-based Kerman & Co has implemented the nFlow digital dictation system for all fee-earners and secretaries in the firm.
Bournemouth firm Turners has chosen IT solutions company Medhurst Communications to manage the purchase and implementation of its IT facilities. Medhurst has overseen the installation of a central server and network, and 'future proofed' the firm by installing ADSL (asymmetric digital subscriber line) and ISDN (integrated services digital network) technology. It has managed Turners' telecoms systems to bring them into line with the IT provision, as well as advised the firm on the modernisation of its intranet, which had grown to 45 users.
Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council has chosen Tricostar's Legal IT solution to operate a case management system within its legal services directorate. Tricostar Legal was developed using the Sage CRM MME product. It was designed as a matter management tool, and combines time and work recording with document management and flexible workflow tools. By using browser-based technology, the service can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection.
