Cable & Wireless is to provide national firm Irwin Mitchell with a converged Internet protocol (IP) network in a deal worth more than £2 million over five years. Irwin Mitchell's frame relay networks will be replaced with new IP communication technology. A managed wide-area network is expected to drive down the firm's operation costs, as well as to underpin its disaster recovery programme.
