Solar power: Magic circle firm Clifford Chance advised Thai bank Kasikornbank on financing Thailand’s THB700m (£13m) utility scale solar power project, which is sponsored by the government-run Solar Power Company.

Passing go: Birmingham firm Wragge & Co advised Community Lighting Partnership, a consortium of property investors Telereal Trillium and consulting engineers Pell Frischmann, on a £30m private finance initiative deal to replace and maintain more than 16,000 street lights and 100 traffic signal junctions in Blackpool.
