Wragges extends IT to create progress reports for clients
Birmingham firm Wragge & Co has extended its IT system so that solicitors can access fully comprehensive progress reports at the touch of a button and send them out to clients automatically.Working with business intelligence solution provider Contemporary, the Seagate Information solution was phased in to combat the problem of solicitors having to call departments to gather information regarding everything from administration to billing.Seagate allows lawyers to access integrated reports from any intranet explorer browser, which are e-mailed out to clients in Word or Excel format.Wragge & Co's systems development manager, Matthew Cleverdon, said the system would save time and effort for solicitors and provide a more efficient service for clients.'We chose this because of its scalability, automation and scheduling ability,' he added.
'We can set up reports for clients that include everything including the time on the clock, and then e-mail them about the progress of the case at all times of the day or night, without the solicitors having to do anything.'Paula Rohan
