On the south coast, four assistants join Coffin Mew & Clover after qualifying at the firm: Lucy Burman and Katherine Allen in the corporate team, Olu Falua in commercial property, and Chris Murphy in social housing. Assistant Michael Goodwin joins the firm’s commercial services team in Portsmouth from local firm Churchers.



Southampton’s Moore & Blatch appoints Walter Kramer to head its property litigation team from London firm Prince Evans.



Bristol firm Veale Wasbrough boosts its public sector team with the appointment of associate Jonathan Jones from Burges Salmon.



Cambridge firm Taylor Vinters recruits Hamish Bennett as an associate in the commercial and technology team from Oxford firm Darbys.

Felicity Wyatt becomes a conveyancing consultant at Derbyshire firm Nigel Davis; she was formerly an associate with the firm.

Rahima Henry becomes head of legal at Credit Agricole Asset Management; she was formerly head of legal at private bank Kleinwort Benson.



BAR AND BENCH



Solicitors Richard Polden, Patricia Pearl and Gillian Stuart-Brown, and barrister Glenn Brasse, are appointed circuit judges on the South-Eastern Circuit. Barrister Penelope Belcher is appointed circuit judge on the North-Eastern Circuit.

Barrister Simon Brown QC is appointed Specialist Mercantile Judge at Birmingham Civil Justice Centre.
