What I find hideous is that SRA firms are not the only players. Look at (and wait for this comment to be deleted) C**********e, C*****L**, P*L, S***** Conveyancing. All paying for work (much like using lady's of the night - if you have to pay you can't be good at it and are probably grubby and desperate) and none obliged to publish their prices as their regulator doesn't require them to do so. Nonsensical garbage from the SRA, per the usual of course.

Saying that, only half the firms in my area have bothered doing it, given themselves plenty of time to cut their cloth. No consequences either.

Pathetic idea all round.

Someone at the SRA should try visiting my vet, dentist or garage. I don't see them being beaten with any kind of stick or threat to decrease slim margins
