I seem to recall a similar system which the land registry wanted to impose upon us about 10 years ago the matrix system , it didnt work and cost a fortune. Could I ask the law Society who do they think is going to pay for this new system , most certainly the clients will not want to pay an additional cost of say £ 50 per transaction to cover to implementation ..Costs are down to the bone already . It will give no benefit , the current system may have its flaws now , but on the whole it works . Sorry I dont think the Law Society is very interested in the rank and file of the profession , just in what they can make out of some marketing idea which they the Law Society will no doubt be paid a fee . Sorry this organisation is out of touch and really does not speak on behalf a vast amount of its members .
